Global Learning Community
Chab Dai adheres to the philosophy that coalition and collective impact methodologies are the most strategic and efficient strategies in holistically addressing social issues as complex as international human trafficking and exploitation.
Since its inception 6 years ago, Chab Dai has grown from a vision of collaboration with 2 staff and 12 member organizations to a leading movement in addressing human trafficking in Cambodia and beyond, with 28 staff, 50 member organizations and more than 10 direct projects. In addition, Chab Dai has expanded into the US and Canada.
Under the Global Learning Community, Chab Dai will glean on lessons learned in Cambodia, the US and Canada in order to share information, expertise and resources across international borders regarding emerging issues, gap areas, evidence based best practices, collaboration models, and research. Such knowledge and information will be shared across international borders with stakeholders at four levels of engagement: macro level (government, intergovernmental organizations), theoretical level (academia), peer level (NGOs, practitioners), and micro level (community).
Currently, the Global Learning Community is in its first year of operation, is assisting networks and stakeholders in Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam; and is in process of partnering with groups in India, Nepal, and southern Africa.
