
Chab Dai USA is devoted to seeing an end to human
trafficking and sexual exploitation in the United States, Cambodia, and across the globe.
Objectives
In addition to adhering to the same core values as other international offices, Chab Dai USA has three primary objectives:
‣Learning Community. First and foremost, Chab Dai USA is committed to partnering with practitioners, non-profits, student groups and government agencies; and assisting organizations network with one another to improve capacity, particularly according to international best practice models. We focus on collaboration and community learning in order to build the technical and personal skills of those who work against human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation.
‣Advocacy & Awareness. Chab Dai USA is committed to raising awareness, providing resources and delivering training to the public, churches and other organizations about addressing human trafficking, sexual exploitation and demand; and advocating on behalf of victims and survivors in the United States, Cambodia, and beyond. We are committed to fighting trafficking before it begins in addition to seeing holistic transformation in the lives of victims and survivors.
‣Fundraising. Chab Dai USA is committed to raising funds on behalf of Chab Dai Coalition projects in Cambodia through special events, grants, and engaging the local church. Grants will be made to Chab Dai Coalition projects several times per year.

‣U.S. Registry Project *Funding Still Needed*
The Chab Dai USA Registry Project (previously mapping project), launched in 2009, will work with key stakeholders across the country to create a database of organizations working against trafficking and exploitation in the United States. More information
‣Training & Capacity Building
Chab Dai USA works to share knowledge with organizations, clubs and churches about human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation by facilitating training and workshops based on recognized best practice, speaking at conferences, and encouraging local and regional organizations to work collaboratively.
‣Advocacy & Community Awareness
Chab Dai USA works with local, regional and nationwide organizations and grassroots movements in raising awareness about human trafficking and exploitation within the U.S. and worldwide.
‣Sacramento March Against Slavery
With over 200 walkers, and over $8,000 raised, the 2009 Sacramento Walk to Stop Child Trafficking Now was a tremendous success! The Sacramento March Against Slavery for 2010 is scheduled for Aug 28, REGISTER HERE.

Governance:
Chab Dai USA, autonomous of other Chab Dai international offices, is a registered public charity, has 501(c)(3) tax exempt status with the United States Internal Revenue Service, is registered as a public benefit corporation in the state of California, and is overseen by a Board of Directors. Approved grants are made to Chab Dai Cambodia projects several times per year.
