Important Update from the Chab Dai Boards of Directors

We write to share with our Chab Dai community the recent departure of Christa Crawford from her position as Executive Director. We are grateful for Christa’s strategic input during the time she was with us and appreciate the knowledge and passion she brought to the organization. Christa shares, “I’m so thankful for my time with Chab Dai and all the great people I’ve been able to work with and learn from.”  We wish Christa well in her future endeavors and are thankful for her contribution. 

The Boards of Chab Dai International and Chab Dai UK remain steadfast in our commitment to ending all forms of abuse and modern slavery globally. To that end, during this transitional period, leadership of Chab Dai will be coordinated through our Global Vision Team (Chab Dai’s senior management team) which includes the National Director of Chab Dai Cambodia, and the Operations and Development Director, who will be joined by the Board Chair of Chab Dai International, in an advisory capacity. The Boards will use this opportunity to reassess the needs of the organization in order to reinforce its commitment to building networked, collaborative responses to combat modern day slavery.  We believe Chab Dai is at an exciting inflection point of growth and impact in response to this global challenge.

We are grateful for our partners, staff, and other stakeholders and are eager to continue working collaboratively to build movements that empower communities, strengthen systems, and restore justice to survivors and their families.
